Splinter were commissioned to produce a series of 5 animations teaching children about KS1 science topics. We developed a concept for a science-mad kid named Seymour, who creates homemade video-blogs with a group of his friends.
"I used the Seymour Science videos with my year 1 class whilst looking at forces. The children could comment on what happened in the video because it was explained in a child-friendly and interesting way that was suitable for the age group. They picked up on the key terminology used and it helped assist their learning of forces. They even asked if they could watch another Seymour Science video because they enjoyed it so much. I would definitely use again."
Lauren Sakalas, Primary School Teacher
We were responsible for the full production of the animations, including concept development, script-writing, storyboarding, illustration, voice-over recording, and then of course animation. And we were delighted to have Lizzie Waterworth (the voice of Horrid Henry) doing the voice-over work.
