Merseycare video sequences

It has been exciting working with Splinter, we are a group of clinicians with a hint of an idea but their team managed to make our ideas come to life in an interesting and informative way for our patients, their carers and the people who visit our services. All we knew was we didn’t want the usual video format so the team worked to produce our messages in graphics with shots of our staff to deliver a range of messages from the privacy of data to healthy lifestyle choices. They were unobtrusive and understood our often demanding clinical services working around those demands.

Mersey Care NHS Trust provides specialist mental health and learning disability and substance misuse services for the people of Liverpool, Sefton and Kirkby. They commissioned Splinter to design and produce 5 video / motion graphic sequences to be displayed in waiting rooms throughout the region.

The sequences dealt with subjects such as the illustrating the Patient Journey, Jargon Busting and Data Security. They combine motion graphics, practitioner / service user interviews and raw video footage.
