Splinter won the tender for this project against significant competition. From the outset the whole process from brief through to delivery was handled in a professional and trouble free way. The Mersey Partnerships aim was to produce a high quality brochure that accurately reflected the massive changes within the business tourism marketplace in Liverpool and Merseyside while at the same time meet the needs of our members and stakeholders. The end result has exceeded our expectations and has been highly praised within the industry.

The Conference Portfolio has been produced to highlight the exciting and diverse conference venues in the Liverpool and Merseyside region. We were asked to produce a book that contained a lot of complex information that is easy to navigate through whilst attaining an attractive design layout. We were made aware that the book had to compete with other international conference destinations and needed to project Liverpool and Merseyside as a leader in this market. Our approach was to position the region as cosmopolitan, contemporary and confident, the book was printed in 5 colours using a litho silver to add to the overall high quality.
The project won a Best Brochure Silver Award at the National MIMA (Meetings Industry Marketing Awards) 2008.
