AIMES

We have recently completed the new CMS driven website for the AIMES Centre. This University of Liverpool initiative is designed to incubate businesses, as well as assisting existing businesses to utilise Grid technology. They required a website to promote their activities as well as an up to date point of reference for events etc. The home page features a bespoke FLASH presentation directing key selling points at AIMES’s different target audiences.

Built using CSS, the AIMES site is an example of how we are adopting best practice for website building through the use of web standards. This approach promotes increased accessibility for screen readers, mobile devices and search engines, as well as providing leaner code and faster download times for the user.

The site is driven by a bespoke Content Management System. Its numerous features include the ability to add various templated pages, WYSIWYG text editing, e-mail list management, downloadable files, newletter management and numerous other features.
