BT Retail is the internal marketing and communication wing of the organisation. They approached Splinter to produce a CDROM to communicate the vision of the new CEO, Pierre Dannon. The product is aimed at senior personnel within the organisation and features audio-visual media, animation, a discussion forum and links to relevant on-line resources. The CD has been produced with Director and features embedded Flash movies, utilising the best of both packages. A three dimensional stage is the vehicle for both animated graphics and the navigational devices. The user is presented with an holistic environment which is both functional, in terms of delivering key information, whilst being visually stimulating and engaging.


It is a good example of the use of different media and their abilities to complement the delivery of information, and demonstrates a range of strategies for interactive design.
