Sefton/Liverpool Enterprise Initiative (SLEGI) has commissioned Splinter and Fresh Consultants to devise an integrated communications strategy from April 07 – end March 09. Fresh will supply marketing and Splinter will produce all design elements. The National Government Initiative aims to transform the North Liverpool/South Sefton border. By 2017 SLEGI aims to transform the area into a base for a new generation of entrepreneurs and successful, outward looking businesses where young people see a future for themselves.
The Initiative has therefore the tasks to create new jobs and business opportunities, make young people more aware of their own area, provide services to support the birth and growth of new enterprises and fight crime and environmental degradation. The project has been branded Step Clever after involving Liverpool students from schools Notre Dame, North Liverpool Academy and Savio. Splinter is contributing by supplying the design elements aimed at the successful design and development of a new brand identity for the six wards between North Liverpool and South Sefton. SLEGI is of vital importance to boost the local economy. |
