Chris has always been a huge fan of the classic early-90s comedy flick Sister Act, so he was delighted when, on one of our recent trips into the capital, we came across this… the stage musical version featuring Whoopi Goldberg herself!

A dream come true for Chris, and he couldn’t resist re-enacting the pose.

We’re very happy to let you all know that the People & Place website is now live!

The British Museum asked us to put together a site for the project, which is aimed at getting young people involved in both local and global history projects.

We’re really happy with how it’s turned out, and have had fun working alongside all the partner museums. We’ll be writing up a full case study soon!

We recently developed an online game as part of the ongoing Clued Up in Hull project for Hull City Council. For a special educational event we needed to bundle it up on CD to give out to visitors, so we decided to have some fun and produced some nifty packaging to go with it. We’re chuffed with how it came out and everyone at the event seemed to like them, so hooray for that! You can check out full info on the project on the Clued Up On Homelessness project page.

It’s Kev’s birthday today, and he very kindly brought in Krispy Kreme donuts for us all… legendary!! So to mark the occassion we’ve dug out this retro, and ever-so-slighty disturbing ad for everyone’s favourite donut brand!

On top of previous Emmy, BANFF and Broadcast Digital nominations, The Well has now been nominated for a highly prestigious Rose d’Or award, in the Multi-Platform category! It’s the 50th anniversary of the awards so we’re hugely honoured that a project we worked on has made the cut… all our fingers are crossed for this one!

We recently had to pop down to meet one of our favourite clients, the British Museum, and whilst having a wander around, look what we found tucked away in a corner… A real Crystal Skull!!!

What is Augmented Reality? – An Augmented Reality application is one which combines real world footage with virtual on-screen graphics in real time. It gives the user the ability to manipulate what’s on screen with something as simple as the movement of their hand.

Making use of ACC’s new branding elements we came up with an interactive experience where visitors could hold up their visitor card to the screen and interact with the graphics on screen to see if they had won one of the available prizes.

The display was a huge success with the Confex crowd, and drew a lot of interest from the press, thus helping promote ACC as a brand even more. You can see the application in action in the video below.
